'moosootoo' is a London-based collective of musicians playing Greek, traditional and popular music... The group maintains a precious aesthetic of genuine performance and quality. The aim is not to confuse modern pop with tradition, but rather to revive invaluable elements of folk and urban Hellenic song in an entertaining context. 

  

Pavlos is a scholar and singer of 'Byzantine Music' a unique genre which traces its roots in ancient Greece and has survived mainly through the Orthodox Church and the Greek folk tradition. Pavlos is a member of the London-based choir: Byzantine Melodists.

  

...A great collaboration with Cigdem Aslan, '  a fresh, natural and relaxed performer with a beautiful voice' (Songlines). Together they have performed extensively in the UK in venues as big as the Royal Albert Hall but also in Istanbul and in Greece.

'The Plastic Chairs' is a Greek folk group with a broad range of activities including live performances and outreach projects. The group has given various major concerts around the UK and has played in schools, hospitals and other institutions.

Pavlos also performs as a soloist: singer-guitarist. His repertoire ranges from a rich variety of Greek songs to favourite English ballads and touches of Spanish and French tunes. Also, as a freelance musician Pavlos collaborates with different groups where he mainly plays guitar, but also bass and baglama.
